The Pediatric Rehabilitation Research Lab
PI-Tamar Silberg (Ph.D)
Dr. Tamar Silberg is an Associate Professor at Bar-Ilan University, and a licensed pediatric rehabilitation psychologist at Sheba Medical Center. She leads the Pediatric Rehabilitation Research Lab and founded the Pediatric Rehabilitation Research Unit at Safra Children’s Hospital. She also heads the Peleg-Bilig Center for the Study of Family Quality of Life at Bar-Ilan University.
As an expert in child trauma, Dr. Silberg has been part of the professional team at Sheba Medical Center supporting children and families following hostage release, and was recently a member of a clinical delegation to Sydney in the aftermath of the Bondi Beach terror attack. Her work focuses on understanding how children and families adapt to trauma, medical conditions, and rehabilitation, integrating clinical insight with research to develop evidence-based, family-centered interventions that promote resilience and long-term well-being.
